We offer internal whitening treatments (bleaching) to brighten the single dark tooth. Our endodontist will conservatively access the inside of the tooth via a small opening from the back using a microscope. The entire procedure takes two short visits, 7-10 days apart, of approximately one hour duration each. The first visit involves placement of a safe whitening agent inside the empty pulp chamber. No anesthetic is needed. The second visit involves the placement of a permanent tooth-colored filling material. This is the quickest way to see an immediately whiter tooth. Patients often express "I wish I had done that years ago!"
