Missed Appointment and No-Show Policy

As a courtesy, a comprehensive appointment reminder system is in place. However, it is ultimately the patient’s responsibility to remember to arrive for the reserved time. We understand that there are emergencies and sudden illnesses and that sometimes you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please call or email us as soon as possible.

  1. Appointments to see the hygienists and the doctor are in high demand. Whenever possible, we prefer to fill open slots to shorten the waiting period for our patients. Please cancel your appointment with at least 48 hours (two business days) notice. If less than 48 hours notice is given this will be documented as a failed Appointment.
  2. If you do not present to the office for your appointment, this will be documented as a No-Show
  3. The failed and No-Show appointment fee for appointments with the hygienist is $75.00. The fee for failed restorative appointments with the dentist is $100. Payment of this fee is due prior to rescheduling your appointment. Our voicemail is available for messages left after business hours, however if a message is left after business hours cancelling an appointment for the next day, a fee may be incurred.
  4. Habitual missed/cancelled/rescheduled appointments may result in a patient being required to either pay up front prior to scheduling an appointment or we may no longer be available to provide dental services for you.
